Job Duties

The specific responsibilities outlined within the job description are reflective of the duties and expectations of the position.  Employees may perform other duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of the operation. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain a utilization rate of at least 72%.

  • Deliver of discipline specific engineering drawings and documents.

  • Produce design product requiring less than 10% rework as measured by internal tracking systems and less than 3% rework measured in dollar value from construction ready drawings to actual final construction costs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in required training.

  • Support colleagues, by responding to emails/calls when required.

  • Perform various additional duties when required

Experience/Education

  • Post-Secondary Education in B.Sc in any Engineering Discipline.

  • P.Eng is a requirement of this position.

  • 5-8 years relevant work experience.

  • Oil and Gas experience is an asset.

  • Power Generation experience is an asset.

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
